H₂Open

Each year, ABC hosts an annual Golf Tournament. This tournament is one of two major fund-raisers the Agri-Business Council holds each fiscal year in which the proceeds benefit the entire agriculture community in the State of Arizona.

This year’s tournament was held on October 28, 2011at the Francisco Grande Golf Course in Casa Grande, Arizona. We want to thank all our sponsors, donors, and golfers that made this tournament a huge success. This year our event sponsors included: APS, ASU College of Technology and Innovation Morrison School, Central Arizona Project, Layne Christensen Company, K.R. Saline and Associates, Pitsch Insurance, Western Growers, and Yuma County Water Users’ Association. Thank You!

Below are some pictures from the tournament. This was our 20th H2Open Tournament and we had 78 golfers! Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you again to all who participated and made this such a fantastic event. Some of our tournament winners were:

1st Place Team: SRP (David Rousseau, Dave Roberts, Bob Roessel, Joe Pike)

2nd Place Team: Southwestern Power Group II (Martin Bailey, Jerry Cozad, Corey Weisenstein, Troy Johnson)

3rd Place Team: Eleven Mile Corner Farmer’s Gin (Ken Foster, Jim Christensen, Mike Kilby, Dave Langston)

Straightest Drive – Martin Bailey

Longest Drive – Judy Cuming and Derek Holt
